August Racial Justice Study Group Meeting

Our August meeting will address the theme "James Baldwin on American Racism."

We will screen and then discuss the film I Am Not Your Negro . Join us from 6-7:30pm to watch the film together. We will provide pizza! Then, we will discuss the film from 7:30-9pm.

If you watched the film prior to attending, we invite you to join us at 7:30 for discussion.

The ABL Racial Justice Study Group typically meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday at Books, Inc in Alameda. Learn more and see the full list of books here.

For months where we are discussing a reading, books can be purchased at Books, Inc. for a 15% discount for attendees of the ABL meeting group. Please identify yourself as part of this group when you order. If Books, Inc. is out of a certain title, they will special order it.
